Issues

I'm having computer troubles and can't get my computer to charge. It's the plug part that won't work. Eric and I are going to the Apple store tomorrow morning to see if they can fix it.
But that means I don't have access to any if the videos from our trip! I have some pictures on my phone so I can still share those but can't put captions under them.
So here are a few pictures from when we went tubing. They made everyone sit in their own tube so Eric had to ride by himself!! Caroline and Will loved it and Eric tolerated it pretty well. After we went to lunch in frisco and a place that reminded me of being in Boone!
What a fun morning!

Skiing was great!!  We had a blast and the kids keep asking to go skiing again!  What more could you ask for?  The kids took 2 half-day lessons and really learned a lot and were solid intermediate skiers at the end of the week.  I have lots of pictures and videos to share. So watch for more posts of pictures and videos!

We drove home Friday, did the trip in 1 day, and Saturday I was tired!  Eric didn't nap in the car either! 13 hour road trip with no naps!!  I have aggravated me back and can hardly move so the kids are helping fold clothes and are shoveling the driveway right now.  We had almost 6 inches last night and today.

This is from way back but still a goody. Eric is crying because I wouldn't give him another cookie. He had already had 3!!! Such a mean mommy!

We are traveling today. We have stopped for the night in Colby,KS. Tomorrow we drive the last bit to Breckinridge, CO to ski for the week with Mimi and granddaddy!!

Counting down

So the countdown to Hawaii has begun!  We have tentatively decided we will depart for HI July 10.  That means there are 122 days until then!!!  I have got the kids and my medical appointments done and the pets blood work sent off.  I had to get the pets done 120 days before arriving in HI.  Now to work on eating all the food in the freezer!  We plan on being in NC before we leave and are counting on seeing you all!!

Catching up from the past few weeks

It has been a little crazy busy so far in March.  But I really don't expect it to slow down until later this year after we get settled in HI.  So here's what we've been up too lately.  Will had his last basketball game March 2 and then a team bowling party the following Sunday after AWANA.  Will is the only one on his team and in his class that has food allergies and his coach was super great in making sure she brought treats Will could eat.  She was texting me pictures of the ingredients to make sure!!

My boys helping me make a delicious apple pie!  Caroline and Eric didn't eat any of it and Justin didn't get very much of it.  Will and I ate over half of it ourselves!!

Thursday was a little warmer than it has been and Eric took advantage of the weather and played outside.

 Friday was a super busy.  We got up had breakfast, hurried to the clinic for my allergy shot and a redo of the kids TB test to go to HI, then took the bigs to school, Eric and I went to gymnastics, then to Walmart for CampDry (had to re-waterproof our ski stuff), then to the grocery store, home to unload and get lunch, nap time for both of us, bigs home from school, then we went to our first horseback riding lesson!, then back into town to pick up pizza, home for dinner, showers, then kids night at the museum on post, then home for bed!!!!!  What a fun busy day.  After the kids went to bed I had dishes to do from all day, sweeping, and 7 loads of laundry to fold.

The barn cats were a HUGE hit and this one like to climb up Caroline's leg and sit on her shoulder!!  She didn't mind a bit!

Will riding Peppy.  They learned to get the horse to go (kiss and kick), turn around and god the opposite direction, and stop.

Watkins Ranch has an indoor riding arena which is pretty nice.  We were in a smaller  area since it was their first time.

Caroline smiled to whole time and even learned to back the horse up.

Eric rode from the back little part where we were to the front main part.  He loved it too!

 They had the kids divided up into 4 groups and we rotated between stations.  There was the gun presentation, art and crafts, story time, and pioneer games.

Today we chill!  Justin is in class again all day and then we are having 5 of his classmates over for dinner and game night.  So we are going to pick up the basement and sort through toys and set aside stuff for the post yard sale coming up in April and make bread, apple pie, and spaghetti casserole.
